hi just got my 1st scoob and dont know much about them to be honest, its a 94' wrx and i want to know if it needs stand alone management or can it be mapped? cheers

You could possibly add a board if you have a chip port on your ecu otherwise you're into a new ECU like a power FC for example. ESL board might be the way to go if you're on a budget.

you can buy chips off major sarcasm on here, you need to tell him your spec and he'll map it to suit, it raises the boost to 1.2 bar. you need to open your ecu and fit the chip in the socket and cut j1 resistor in order to run the map on the chip.
