Has anyone fitted a turbo timer to their scooby. Im planning on purchasing a HKS one but not sure if its compatible with the subaru alarm. i.e. the alarm is on while the engine is still on.

I've got a Blitz TT.
Had my Clifford reconfigured to take the TT into account so it locks the doors then, once the engine switches off enables the immobilsers etc.
Clifford actually have a turbotimer function on their alarms as well.

I was told that if you have your alarm modified so you can use a turbo timer, your alarm will lose it's Cat 1 Thatcam status.
Anyone been told any different by an alarm manufacturer?

I don't know about turbo timers but remote starting invalidates Cat 1 according to my installer.

The other issue with a TT is security - a nicely packaged box with the ignition wires protruding out the back.... hmmm.

Thanks

Gavin
