Default Bugeye Impreza STi Prodrive

A bit of a question, that hopefully some other STI Prodrive owners will be able to answer.

There is no cetificate under the bonnet, or in the service binder, is there supposed to be a plaque under the bonnet, or a certificate?, or due to the fact it's the prodrive model, it does not require it?

Any help would be appreciated

It should be a card certificate with the car's details on it. Mine came with the binder but I bought from Subaru direct

Prodrive should have a record of supplying it against your vehicles VIN plate

I thnk your getting confused between a ppp and the prodrive style, the ppp will have a certificate but a prodrive style sti won't and they don't all have the ppp fitted

A little bit of history here for you
There is an STI Prodrive but its a JDM car, production run of 1000 units of which 900 are blue and 100 are black, they also have a roof vent but are based on the standard STI chassis and not a Spec C's.
The STi type UK that was produced for the UK came in 2 different styles (note the style bit ) you have 750 none Prodrive Style cars and 750 Prodrive Style.
They are the same car except the Prodrive Style has the cosmetic changes (bumper/side skirts/spoiler etc) over the none Prodrive Style.
All these were 262bhp, the PPP pushed this up to 301bhp or 305ps, to confirm you can check with subaru UK if you take your chassis number and reg in, or there should be a certificate stating the date/reg/chassis number/mileage the package was fitted.

Very nice but its not a prodrive style, its just a prodrive (MY02 STI Prodrive as its a JDM ), the style was the UK car

Do you mean the applied model code..... ?

all the UK bug sti's left the factory in Japland the same and Prodrive here did the style package (for the prodrive style) before the car hit the streets so the V5 is different but the car is the same as a bug sti underneath...

Or are you thinking about the applied code for the Jap (not uk) prodrive ?

Shaun
