I'm with Nick. Save an extra 1000 by going direct.
Make sure you check what exchange rate these importing companies are using in their quotes, because they are impossible to actually get. Then compare the prices in the local currencies.

I'm sure there are a load of other UK import places around but have just been sent this from my ISP and the saving is awesome.
For anyone considering the new shape Impreza they must check this out...

From the price my Dutch dealer gave me (Ooo err misses
) you could save another £2000
off that price.
Worth it for V.Little effort.
Matt.

It depends on whether the Importer gets comission from the foreign Dealer for introducing business or whether they charge you for their services. It is not always cheaper to go direct if the former applies.

Well importing from Belgium works out about £1000 cheaper than grey UK and exclusive-eurocar
Will cost me £16,000 as opposed to £22,000 from the UK.
(Dutch dealer I called was more expensive than Belgium).
(Boost II, so do you own an X-reg Mica-blue Turbo? And <whispers> an Escort?)

I think it was on Radio 5 the other morning but they were saying that in a number of cases the cost of importing has levelled out vs the cost of buying in the UK. They said in one importers case it was possible to get a Ford Puma £700 cheaper in the UK.
Just a warning to people to still check the UK prices as well and not just the import price.

Like I just said 16,000 vs 22,000 doesn't seem too level to me!! (I'm including delivery and CAT1, the rest is identical)
Ok so Pumas and Accord Type-Rs may not save you much, but £6000 seems like a hell of a lot to save on an Impreza whatever anyone says!

Damn, if you weren't out there washing your car the other day when I went out for a drive in the Elise I wouldn't have called in at Quenby's to see if they had any left and I wouldn't have ended up being £16,000 worse off!!
It's the 306 which is going, not the Elise or the MG (Worse luck. Wife's car, not my choice, honest)
