Just thought I'd share some photos of a rebuild we've just done of a old HT autos car, shame its only a sport!

That does look really cool, not so sure about the Bonnet and roof vents but still a very tidy example.

I saw this car yesterday and the pictures really don't do it justice . The paint job looks fantastic , I particularly liked the Orange pearl in the laquer on the black bits , a really nice touch .

Nice!!!

But +1 on the bonnet vents, a clean bonnet would finish that car off.

It looks great, the problem with it is that every man and their dog will want to race it thinking it is a turbo and being its a sport chances are will beat it and then the inevitable rash of i beat a scooby threads...

It must just be me,
I appreciate the hard work that has gone into it and I'm sure the finish is perfect. I'm not knocking the workmanship one bit but you may as well drive round with a tannoy system screaming out 'I'm a ****'.
Guys, it's a bloody 2.0 sport with a few Halfords bits and eBay goodies bolted on then blasted over with orange paint. I really can't see the attraction.
For the money that has cost he could of bought a lovely spec type R, insured it and bought enough petrol to last the rest of the year.
I'm sure the finish is spot on and you only build what the customer asks for, but when he asked for that you really should of slapped some sense into him.

These sorts of comments are totally unnecessary. Fine if you don't like it but do you really need to be rude about it?
Why is he a ****, because he hasn't 'followed the croud' and produced something 'normal', or because he doesn't drive a Turbo?? Its different and original, granted not something I'd do to my car, but I like it.

Why people have to be so rude when they don't like something is beyond me......... just my 2p.

I'm only saying what 99% of the forum users are thinking. Maybe I should keep my opinions to myself, I apologise for my comments.

God there are some d1ckheads around lol.

I love it, well apart from the vents/scoops. Would love to put the wide arch kit on mine, but I`m not that brave.

At the end of the day as long as the owner like it, then thats all that matters.
Me I like it.

Loving the special blue 2 door in the background

Hope you don't mind Scooby2nr ,but as you have done such a huge amount of work on my 450 bhp+ Hawkeye I thought I would post a couple of pics on your thread . All the guys from Redline were very complimentary about your workmanship when they featured the car on the cover last year.

The Autotecnica built forged motor

And the proof that it all works
