Just fitted thule aero bars on my wagon,then started to fit my 3 thule 530 bikeracks.Problem being when fitted,it appears the tailgate spoiler will catch on the rackends and the bikes rear wheels, Never had this with my mont blanc rails on my saloon wrx even with a high level spoiler.How do other wagon bikers manage?,do they just not open the tailgate fully? dont want scratches as the car is 2002 and has no dents or scratches up to now!

Can you not put the bars/racks slightly further forward?
