I have a WRX with steel wishbones. One of then is bent, so i would like to change to Sti hawkeye alloy wishbones. Has anyone done this, and do you need spacers on the back to make the width the same as the front.

I have had the steel wishbones changed for hawkeye aly ones on my gf8. I haven't had time to run it on them yet, and I actually have Whiteline camber/toe-adjustable rear arms, so don't know about handling.
But they fit, the wheels will end up forward in the arch but won't touch with normal wheelsizes (but fully dubbed ice/snow rallytyres will not work...) and also I may have to roll the arches.

I noticed that the front wheel sits out more than the rear, i looked up the spec of a hawkeye sti, and it is 5mm wider than a wrx. So is it ok just to put spacers on the rear, or will i need to change the rear set up as well.
