Hi everyone. Been a lurker for a while and bought an 06 WRX 36k miles standard apart from a Powerflow backbox about 4 weeks ago now from a dealer on the Isle of Man. Since then I've not really had the chance to open it up properly until this weekend.

Since I have managed to open it up I was expecting that wonderful burble sound to come through. Instead I find that there is a tick between about 2500 and 3300 in every gear. No ticking when you rev it between there when it's in neutral but noticable when driving. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

It's going back to the dealer at lunch time today to get the key fobs programmed and the exhaust knock sorted Not a great start to Subaru ownership but hopefully wil be sorted soon. Car is under a dealer 1 year warranty so he better fix it! Any advice etc is very much appreciated as you lot really seem to know your stuff
