Why are Defi's soooooo expensive. Compared to other makes they are really dear. Is there anything they do that say a prosport gauge won't.
I've got prosport oil temp/pressure gauges in my car and they do the job perfectly. The pair only cost me £70 new.

They work, all the time, LOL

Can yours record 5 minutes of driving? Do they have re-settable max/min settings with an audible and visual alarm if broached? Can yours tell you the peaks reached for every drive?

Defis can do all those things, plus they work out of the box and look the biz

The prosport ones I have do have the option to set min/max reading and do give a visual and audio alarm if these settings are reached.
They were easy to fit.
Worked out of the box.
Been on car for over 6 months with no issues.
Look really very nice.

They can't record or tell the peaks of every drive. Seems like a hell of alot of extra money to be able to do something that most people would never do.

All in all, £70 very well spent in my opinion. But if you have the money to blow then fair play.

pretty much yes apart from record function as long as you buy the decent ones prosport steppers and they do the opening ceremony as well

just because there have been the odd person thats had one fail or not worked right does not by any means say they are inferior i know many people running them and are a very popular choice, you dont get two of these for £70 though there about that per gauge

Worth every penny IF the sensors are included !

dunx

P.S. Alcazar and I can both put these up as the reason neither of us had to buy a new engine... fuel pressure + boost pressure in differential mode = save your motor !

It was plus delivery buddy, so worked out at about £80 all in. Got them off eBay, if you search prosport gauge on there you'll find them. There is a guy who sells loads on there. My ones have a little silver button at the bottom to set the min/max reading, you can also have the face illuminate in white or red.
You can get non stepper prosport gauges too for a bit less, a pal has them in his car and they work just as well. They don't have a visual or audio alarm though, just a basic gauge. Think he paid £50 for them.

thats a good price i paid a good bit over the hundred for two delivered, and yeah they have audo and visual alarms, and can be set etc etc only thing they dont do is record, but if there fitted right no reason why they should, int save your engine also if you have the right ones installed

Yep, can you do THAT with prosports?

My fuel pressure gauge shows the DIFFERENCE between the fuel pressure and the bost, which SHOULD be constant. If it's not, and the fuel pressure falls, foot off time!

Is it the air/fuel ratio gauge you have buddy or the fuel pressure gauge.
Prosport do a air/fuel ratio one that shows if your running lean or rich.

Just go onto EBay, search 'prosport gauge' and a list will come up. There are all sorts but main ones you want are oil temp, oil pressure and boost.
