Default 365bhp from a VF23 turbo and a top mount? Really?

Was just having a browse and came across this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-SUBARU-IM...item230fed6dc9

Is that power possible from that turbo?
I see there is no mention of an uprated ecu either.

And it has head light washers.....hmm.

I lolled at 365bhp on a classic tmic and the fact its "cheap insurance due to being registered as a 2ltr GL"
Yet another moron who thinks defrauding insurance co's is a good idea

You can always get exceptions to the rule ,but i thought the most out of a vf23 would be about 320 - 340 bhp.Why not ask the seller does he have any paperwork to substantiate the figures .

Also i thought it a bit odd too,why it has headlamp washers when they were not fitted to the wrx/sti cars only uk variants - maybe a new bumper could be ???.

Yes tony ,couldn't agree more ,when i bought my legacy gtb a few years ago, when the V5 turned up it said 2.0ltr GL,I phoned the insurance/dvla immediatley to get it changed .It might seem like a good idea to say nothing to the insurance ,but wait till he has an accident,as he then has NO insurance, which is why we are left with this :

I just don't get why some idiots try it on these days.
With the internet, it is very quick and easy to prove/disprove what somebody states about their car.

I mean there isn't even a mention of an ecu upgrade. And he also reckons it has a closed deck block, even though it is a 1997 block which are open aren't they?

I asked if the splitter could be removed (have a friend interested in the car and I am trying to put him off) as well a little more info on the power.
This is the answer I received. Hmm, steer clear me thinks!

'The splitter can be removed I think never really tried and look up on the turbo it's good for 330whp ie power at the wheels not the fly wheel not really sure what's been done only had the car 5 weeks had it up at xo power tuning and that what power it was putting out running on optimax with octane booster really fast car puts the power down well with short shift gear box cheers andy'

330whp is like 400bhp at the fly, and that turbo wont get anywhere near that (maybe he is getting his 330whp with 330bhp fly power, is he a yank? )
