Default does such a motor exist..?

Morning.

can someone please suggest what I can get next.

Altho schooled in all things scoob, with a 2nd child on the way, and with a little in the bank.. I've no idea what to get..
OK, the limiters, the car must..

- be under 6k ideally.
- reliably do 350 miles per week on the commute (and therefore do 40+mpg)..
- overtaking quickly..
- pull a caravan..
- take 2 bikes in the back plus gear..

Havin buy the wife a different motor to solve some of the needs isn't an option (she won't drive out big and/or her past endorsements restrict..)

I have had LPG vehicles (Jag/Disco) in the past so that's not an issue (actually preferable over diesels)..

I'm currently thinking along the lines of a LPGd remapped Forester. Or a gassed-up 540 estate..? I need help people - what do you lot do..?

Many thanks for looking..

A

I was thinking maybe an A4 3.0 TDi Estate?

Fits all the needs you want.

how big is you're caravan? (whats the weight). this is important as it needs to be able to tow it, work back from there.

Really? Nightmare.

OK then. What if I lose a mate (1 bike). Add a bike rack, gas tank, a towbar but lose a rear spoiler? Back to the Scoobies! Ah. But. Wait. Image. I'm 39..
Thanks for the suggestions tho people...

change one of the parameters and your lookign at a different kettle of fish. e39 5 series will be a very nice car for all bar the fuel and also be way under that budget. i love mine

this I think would do everything you needed it too. I reckon you would get it for under £6000.
