Hi guys,

Does anyone know where i can get hold of this rubber strip. its to go over a 30mm x 1mm x 0.5m length of aluminium. Im making a bracket just like the one in the second photo but larger.

yes mate seen them before they are rubber seals that go over a steel bracket for pipework, they are to allow to disimilar metals to be clamped ie a stainless pipe with steel bracket bss should stock them mate .

 

same stuff used to hold a pit bike exhaust try ebaying that?

 

Or Google trim parts, lots of places do edging strips in different colours, sizes etc.
