could someone kindly furnish me with specs for a 01 bugeye STi (or the earliest if there was no such thing that year):

anything else you care to add.

There are probably no bugeye STi's around which havn't been modified since they were introduced in Jap Land in Nov 2000 LOL

BHP=276, lbft i think was 273, JDM only car in MY01 guise and would need 100 ron fuel for those figures as that is what they were mapped for
0-60 would be around 5 secs (maybe slightly lower, high 4's), but as its a JDM it would be hard to find the information freely on t'internet.

he was definitely trying, could see significant movement at gearchanges along with some crap from the exhaust. We were on a short stretch of dual carriageway between two roundabouts and he did pull away ever so slightly on the sweeping curves but I'm still on the winter tyres and having had the back out un-untentionally earlier on a damp road I didn't want to push it so was being a bit timid.

I'm not saying I would have 'beat' him if we were to have a race but we seemed evenly matched which surprised me as I thought he would be miles faster. But looking at those specs we're very similar. I have very mild modifications which raises my lower down torque slightly. Standard for the GT-B is 276bhp/253lbft, 0-60 5.7 secs and 1480kg, not bad for a hearse

ayway it was good fun and I respect the guy and his car, although I think he was a little perplexed . Of course all this was below 70mph.

I have a 2001 jdm sti. Book 0-60 4,9 secs 155mph top speed. Rolling road 295 bhp 285 torque (standard) rear wash/wipe man/auto intercooler spray tinted rear/back windows lsd on front I think. These are some of differences between the jdm
and UK sti. First Jdm bug on a y plate I think.

thanks for that. I don't know enough to tell if it was JDM or not, it was stickered up and on a 51 plate.

ignore the date it's not set correctly. Looks like there might be something under the STi badge but I can't quite tell from the pics and memory isn't sure.
