How many people on here would actually know how to fix that car, or know where to take it to get it fixed, if it went wrong?

I'd be fine until it went wrong, and then not being a mechanic wouldn't be able to do anything with it!!!

My point is that if I bought something like that (being a constant car worrier!) that if anything went wrong I'd be left with a piece of useless metal which I couldn't fix and wouldn't know where to go to get it sorted.

Just me who thinks like this then?

I guess if you can afford to spunk 75K on something like that, then when it breaks down it doesn't really matter much and off you go and get something else. I think it is aimed at the high end enthusiast though to be fair.

I'm sure some members in the Skyline owners club could point you in the right direction buddy. There are some serious skylines in the country ( rocket ronnies silver R33 comes to mind ). There are guys out there who work on skylines. More to the point, if you can afford 75 large for a skyline then having it repaired won't be that much of a worry.

Traitor

This is mine http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/s...st.asp?inc=305

I had a godzilla (R33 GTR). Had it off my brother who had done lots and lots to it, i.e new turbos, ecu etc.
It was awesome in a straight line. Very good on the corners BUT... It didn't feel like it. It just wasn't any fun. Simular to my EVO4, just not fun, again, really quick but that felt like a cavalier on speed.

I'm on my third impreza now and i really do love them. It's the massive smile factor.

It's communities like SN where people are always on hand to help you out, whether buying, selling, needing advice or breaking down.
