I was wondering if I need both fans? As I have removed my air-con. On my previous impreza the second.fan was only active when the air-con was on, so I knew which 2 to remove, also is it possable to move the fan to the front of the rad instead of behind it? As im fitting a new rad im trying to clean it all up, nice and tidy with nothing I dont need still there,

As you say, the second fan is for aircon, so you dont need it

Bump on this, which side was the aircon fan? drivers or passengers.

The single fan is always on the near side, so aircon will PROBABLY be on the offside.
