Default First post and hard decision

I bought my scoobs just before new year to get through the snow and ming after my faithful landy broke.

I've obviously enjoyed it a little too much and it now does an inpression of a vintage train. Initial investigation suggests the valve stem seal on number 2 cyclinder.

So being that it's a slightly scabby 99 turbo 2k do i fix it or break it? Anyone done stem seals with the heads in place?

It's got lots of twinky bits so may help many others live... (or go faster) :-)

You won't be able to do the valve seals without removing the engine and taking the heads off.
