Default Front splitters?

Where is the best place for a more aggressive front splitter? Ebay, HT Autos among others only seem to offer the single types of black splitter. Are there any others out there similar to the Chargespeed which has the bigger winglets on the sides.

Thanks

HT Auto's are a very good fit. I'd rather go for one of them than off ebay.

The Chargespeed ones look decent, but not sure how easy they are to get hold of?

I have had three splitters from HT Autos all have gone out of shape (underneath) in the summer and cracked or split in the winter

Mine have never gone out of shape to be honest.

I've had a few due to hitting things, but always found them decent enough.

Yeh I am trying to weigh up the difference to try and source a chargespeed for a bit more aggression or go with the standard HTA splitter.

All three of mine went out of shape only on the underneath tho, but you could see it, I think the freezing weather gets to them as well and once they go brittle the slightest Knock and it all ends in
Saying all that I will probably get another but only use it for summer as I do like the look of the car with it on.

there's a couple of ways of getting the Chargespeed. Search on google and use .com and email a load of sellers about shipping to the uk. You should find a couple. Warning though - it's very addictive and expensive. I'm addicted to getting stuff from america that you can't get here. You do get a massive buzz fitting it knowing you're probably the only (or few) that has it in the country.

A little while ago I picked up a Chargespeed brochure in scoobyparts - he might be able to do special orders or at least point you in the right direction mate

I fitted the one that's in the above link last week. I wanted one that was a bit different to the usual HT autos one. It wasn't a direct fit, as some of the fixing points didn't line up, but after drilling a couple of extra holes in the bottom of the bumper it's on there pretty solid now.

I've dealt with Mark at HTA autos in the past on a rear splitter and seemed to be very proffessional and easy to chat to. Very reasonable when I wanted to send another item back. Personally, think he would be a bit horrified that people are saying they twist and brake etc.

They seem to be the leaders with ABW in this area mate

Everyone seems to say good things about HT Autos. However do they operate on Ebay?

The reason I ask is because there is a trader called HTA Subaru who has identical splitters on there for about 20 quid cheaper. Link below

Hey Boydey I saw this splitter too. Any chance you could show a pick of it fitted as I prefer the higher winglets on it.

I've had 3 HT Autos front splitters, all on different cars and never had a fitment issue or seen them warp.
Might soon have another one for a Blobeye.

I'm not saying they dont fit! The fitment is very good, But I have had three now and every one has gone out of shape (underneath) in the hot weather and all three have gone very brittle in the freezing weather and cracked with light contact.

IIRC the original Subaru splitter as fitted to the RB320 Is very expensive, I wonder if its made from a different material to the HT Auto's one

I'd have to agree with this. Mine warped underneath and then cracked in the winter after a minor contact with a kerb.

In my opinion they are not very good quality at all. I replaced a Scott Lowe splitter ( awesome quality, fit and finish) for an HT Autos one and was very disappointed. It was quite flimsy and the fit wasn't as good as I expected. The finish was also not to the standard I expected, a shiny cheap looking sheen.
