No. Putting Japanese ecus in a uk car is a nono. It has to be like for like. You can keep the ecu and add the likes of an ESL daughter board. You can use EcuTek to reprogram or you can change your ecu all together for something like syvecs, simtek, motec, apexi et al

Depends what you want to. Cheapest option I'd ecutek. 350 plus first licence fee. Simtek is about £1k while solaris/syvec is about £1.5k. Motec m400 will be even dearer. You might be able to get a motec m48 pro cheaper 2nd hand.

What sort of modifications do you have and what do you want to achieve

It's a tired 12 year old engine. It was 215 bhp out of the show room. With a remap you might see 260 at a push. Bigger turbo, injectors, and freer flowing exhaust might see you to 280 - 300? But then other things start to break

injectors should be fine if they are 440
to make 300/320 you will need
vf35/34
3" decat
3 port
a good panel filter or cone
uprated fuel pump
and a good mapper

and then you will need to upgrade brakes and suspension

bottomless pit
