Rolling Road ... what do I do on it?
#1
We have been asked if we would like to go on a rolling road this weekend. What exactly will I have do?
Our WRX is only just run in (1100 miles)and am slightly concerned about pushing it too hard. It hasn't been above 5 1/2K rpm yet - we're trying to do it step by step to help bed it in.
p.s. Salsa King
Good to meet you last night - we'll be stickered up on Saturday!

Oh and they will take it to the rev limiter repeatedly so watch for the big puff of black smoke as the rev limiter kicks in at 7200RPM.
To be honest with you it is a waste of time for a standard car and if you want a figure to tell your mates down the pub just pick a figure between 215BHP and 240BHP depending on which rolling road you were going to attend (best to pick a figure over 230 BHP if it is Power Engineering)

Just my experience after taking my old "Hesitating bag 'o ****e" MY00 to Power Engineering. Still managed to make 230BHP (apparently....) even though it felt gutless compared to the MY98 I originally test drove.

Someone else drive my Scoob? - I am concerned now! - well a bit!
I'm not really worried about the output of my car - it's already way quicker than the company cars we had before(all 1.6's) and it's a way to meet some of the local posse and a have a bit of a laugh!
But thanks for the imput.
Cheers
