You ain't gonna believe this,
I am a prize plonker (Not that bit ) This morning, approx 07:00hrs i was performing a U Turn. So what I hear you cry, well I do this U turn every morning off of my drive no problems, however there are roadworks at the end off my drive so my normal(past 4 years) arc was interfered with.
I wasn't paying attention and BANG front nearside wheel hits the kerb whilst at full lock and Bends the ******** Suspension backwards towards the rear of the wheel arch.
DOH!!
Anyways, goes to the Dealer (To have me door looked at refer to AAARRRGGGGHHH part 2)and we all stand around my scoob amazed at the amount of damage caused by this kerb mounting.
For the record, i was doing about 5-10 mph you know, nothing outrageous, I wasnt trying to step the back out or anything.
Anyways, FAT insurance job now, Scoob off the road for 10 days and I wish that this week never existed.
On a lighter note, I am having no regrets about scoob ownership
Also for the record, I've never had an accident nor claimed on insurance in 15 years of driving (just incase you were thinking that i'm a really crap bloke)
So there you have it

SteveH, You have mail
