Dutch April delivery cars - seats
#1
(I've reposted here from Interior)
Does anybody know if the Dutch cars that have just arrived in Holland have buckets or air bag seats as I've been told that Dutch cars in the future will have air bag seats only.
Regards
Lee

Sorry I don't know the answer as to what seats a currently being delivered in cars to Holland. But I would be interested to know where you heard the rumour about dutch dealers only getting the seats with side-airbags from now on, because I have a WRX with bucket seats on order for July delivery.
I was quoted a longer delivery time for the bucket seats, so I think subaru must manufacture the cars in batches i.e Sports seats for a couple of months, then bucket seats for the next couple of months. But I may be wrong about that.
Cheers
Nick

A car importer told me that future cars from Holland will have air bag seats but cars from Belgium will have bucket seats - maybe your car is coming from Belgium.
I hope mine has bucket seats otherwise I'm cancelling my order.

Simple. It depends which you ordered!
There are two car model codes EKER = bucket seats.
EKEC = UK style airbag seats
Both Belgium and Holland do both. The EKER is actually a bit cheaper from both countries. Waiting for my Belgian EKER as we speak.
So just check the model code
