Sigh.. Rear Screen exploded...
Anyone else with a newage had a rear screen shatter?
Was driving down the M25 today, Huge Bang, turned around to see the rear screen complelety shattered but still in one piece with no obvious holes
pretty sure the rear screen heater wasnt on either :/
it started to fall apart and i pulled over to the hard shoulder to clean up as much of the glass as i could
Just seems odd it went without any thing obvious causing it :|

i just hope the bad luck doesnt come in threes..
i guess its covered like the front screen is on the insurance, with the excess payable.
will give admiral a call tomorrow
o and for any of you with sharp eyes, that ripspeed logo is my friends idea of a joke and is coming right off the rear passenger side tomorrow!

I had a rear 1/4 shatter in the same way on my old Focus ST and it certainly wakes you up! I put mine down to a stone chipped up by a passing car or lorry on the M40. At first after hearing the bang I thought a tyre had blown but I quickly realised the car was still under control and looked over my shoulder to find a stattered window

well turns out never goes simple for me...
ive noticed they havent fitted the rear plastic runs either side of the rear window properly
was dark when he was doing it, so not overly surprised, and i missed it at the time too
national windscreens turned up today and said they wouldnt touch it, as they reckon they wont be able to sort it w/o breaking the window :|
gotta wait for the manager to get involved down....
i could tell they were hoping id just go with it and leave it as is...
