Got home last night and engine was making a metallic rattling noise on tickover but not regular. Same again this morning. Coming from drivers side below turbo. Also seems to be lumpy on tickover
Any ideas? It's a 03 Sti with 70k on.

Cat broken its weld's and rattling under throttle??

 

Only doing it on idle. I noticed heat shields fixing points have all corroded and is loose. But it sounds more like a tappet sound but not continuous.
I'm sure this car is just bad luck. One thing after another since I got it. Just my luck for it to blow up now.
