Question

Have been offered the chance to race (as part of a team) a fully sponsored Beetle in the Uniroyal Team Challenge this year (races at Donnington, Silverstone, Snetterton + 2 others).

I need to gain my racing licence first, so anyone know what this involves??

Cool

Costs about £200 and a day of your time at one of the "approved" schools. Check out the MSA website for more details. Good luck with the racing!

A medical, tuition, driving assessment and written test. This will get you (assuming you pass) a National B licence. You will carry the yellow square with black X until you have gained enough signatures on your licence.

You will need the Go Racing pack from the MSA which gives you all the information you will need. Demon Tweeks used to supply them as well.

It is a bit more daunting than your driving test and your first race will be a confusing rush before, during and after. There's nothing quite like it.

Drop me a mail if you need any further help.
