Default may have to say bye

well guys and girls looks like i mite have to sell my scooby as just cant pay out what they want for insurace . are other people finding this . what are rx8 like as mite be doing a exchange for 1

I had one before the Scooby. They are worse on petrol, pretty gutless and don't even bother taking it out if there is even a dusting of snow.

That said on a dry day through twisties they are very well balanced and good to drive.

All i see is insurance threads on most forums regarding the high prices
Think the government has told them all just to give good quotes for toyota prius's

yea they would love use to all be tree hugers .lol its just iv spent loads on my car when ever it need some think i done it but just 2k for insurance with out the miss on it plus fuel for a weekend car think its time to get somethink a bit cheapper all round and i dont have any cash so looking to do a swap or may try sell it thinking 5k wrx sti bugeye seams ok

Because people jump on the comparison sites (who normally hate Impreza's), get a high price, then give up.

Insurance can be fine if you go through a specialist, such as Keith Michaels, A Plan, Sky, Greenlight etc...

I use to have a rx8 before the scooby, gotta be the worst car I have ever owned, gutless engine with no torque but pretty good round bends

Cheapest quote i got on a comparison website was £984, and that's without mods, and i'd need to activate the tracker.

I pay £550

Thats exactly what i found as well,got mine down to £520 funny enough its cheaper with the mrs on it even though she rarely drives the car and is 6 years younger

Holy **** I pay just over £800 for a trade policy that allows me to drive my Subaru, Lexus and Citroen

£620 with adrian flux and didnt have to activate the tracker either

go compare and money supermarket some of the cheap quotes had to activate tracker at £180 a year so would have been the same as flux guys
