Default 18" Tyre Suggestions

Generally use the Scoob for the winter so generally in the wet / snow / ice. There doesn't seem to be much available for 18" can anyone recommend something at a reasonable cost for wet / snow?
Thanks

the Toyo Tr1s with be crap in the snow ...you really need snow tyres from oct-feb to march,
as these work from temps +7C downwards but not so good above that +7C as the tyre will wear quicker !
TR1s is a summer tyre so these will work from +7 upwards ideally from feb/march to oct/nov

ps "snow tyres" work better in the rain as well

Thanks. But why are 'Snow' Tyres so damn expensive! Also read something in the news that some insurance companies are refusing to pay out on accidents where cars have ST fitted as they were never listed as a modification - has the world gone mad AGAIN?
