You didn't say what fuel you were using ie price/litre!
A very simple calculation will show that equates to 17.6 mpg using V-Power at 136.9/litre
If you are using the performance then yes, that's ok. If you're just poodling around you should see 23-24 mpg
At 128.9/litre you're getting only 16.6 mpg!
Where on Earth is it still that cheap?
JohnD
In Mansfield mate but saying that I ain't put none in for a wk so could of gone up
I thought it was low it's only driving to work and back daily trip of 14 miles on the a38 so it's not like it's stop and starting!!!!
Who would look at it a garage or mapper!????????
Thanks everyone
i filled the tank back up to full yesterday it took 22 pound and i done around 80 miles to that,im running 445 bhp, that is a bit of mixed driving, yours by the sounds of it needs a good looking at
My 2003 STi with VF43 decat and remap does 190-200 miles to a tank normally,Even when i bought it with PPP it still did the same, 17mpg sounds about right to me
Do you think getting in touch with my mapper and seeing what he says is a good start then chaps??? It was mapped on the road so might c what he says about getting it on the rollers
Fill it up top the brim and reset the trip meter and see what return you get from a full tank You aint really doing a long enough journey to work to see a better fuel return mate tbh, i used to do 40+miles aday and would get 300 miles from a full tank Also what do you do in the mornings ie just start and drive or do you leave it ticking over to warm up?
Hi Craig - no probs with checking it out on the dyno with you but the issue is the 7 mile trips where the car is hardly warmed up and still in overfueling when cold mode. There were no issues with the fueling on the closed loop side of things with it last week when I checked it out with you then.
As said above - try filling the tank and running it to empty (will still do 40 miles once yellow light is on) as the movement on the gauge is very erratic and impossible to judge a fuel economy from.
