I have had exactly the same problem this evening!
Don't know what the problem is but am using Freeserve not AOL, so can't see that reformating will cure the problem.
I'm sure that one of the more technicaly minded guys on this site will be able to point us in the right ditection.

Guys I was in chat at the time and SDB was in the middle of trying to sort the BBS out as there was a denial of service attack. He did shut the bbs down for a time.
He had it up and running quite quickly again.

Guys, Puffs site is hosted by Simon, and this may of been caused by the hacker (not confirmed. Puff was not hacking scoobynet! however someone was and is being traced.
Believe me, its frightening what you can trace on the net!

As Ronnie says - it is very frightening what you can find out on the web. I think there was a similar incident a few months ago. It is possible to redirect html pages without intervention from the user - if you know what you're doing and this does sound like what has happened. I'm sure Simon will explain once he got it fixed.
On a separate note, for your own protection, get yourself a personal firewall, especially if you frequent chat rooms - you'll be amazed at the amount of crap flying around on the Internet. Goto
