my 04 sti has developed a strange fuel gauge fault, when i put fuel in the gauge goes up fine then works correctly but when it gets to just above the orange fuel low light it just sits there and gets no lower.
any ideas how to fix this??

Id disconnect the wires from the sender unit in the tank and see if it drops then at least you will know where the problem is tank or gauge
