Do you think an Impreza looks better with mudflaps?
Since registering on here my opinion's changed on a few things. I used to think flaps were necessary on all Imprezas (hence the username) but now i'm not so sure. I think the car looks more modern and classy without them, but sportier, lower and wider with
Do you think they are a thing of the past? Do you think they look 'chavy'?
Simple question to find the current opinion on these. Do you think an Impreza looks better with mudflaps or without?

My white sti 5 wagon has red flaps with the sti lettering in white. The car was imported with them on and when i was sent the photos i thought that they would be the first things id change.
However seeing the car in the flesh and because of things like red rays wheel nuts and other pink/ cerise and red detailing on the car i think it suits them.

When I bought my white classic it already had white 'STi' logo'd flaps fitted. One of the first things I was going to do was remove them but after driving it for a week I soon realised that without them it was going to be covered in mud. (I live out in the sticks).
I left them on which makes it easier to wash and protects the paintwork.
Still not sure about them though?

I'm after some for my 99 classic as without it just gets covered in road grime all up the doors etc, trying to find some of the smaller ones as I don't like the big rally type things

yes for me they do look better with I keep meaning to buy some for mine but end up buying other things instead.
It's a shame the logos are so big on the scoobyworld ones so I think I would have to get plain ones. Either that or the prodrive flaps but they are twice the price.

i got them on the front, had them on the rear and ripped off the rear bumper twice so just on the front as i run very abrasive pads that leave bits of metal in wheels
