Can't help you with the paint code, but if it makes you feel better, I cracked an alloy hitting a pot hole and replaced the wheel at a cost of £230 only for the wife to hit a curb in the recent snow and damage the wheel that I had replaced. The wheel had only been on there a couple of months.

Any one suffering from pothole damage, there is hope.
Councils put money aside to repair car damage due to there poor roads, as its cheaper then repairing the pot holes to begin with. Sicking i know, but thats life.
5th gear did an artical on it a while about, i'll see if i can find the link.
