Did mine too, used a hairdryer to warm up the seals. Much easyer than having it all in the oven.
I allso painted them flat black, looks do much better on a WRB

I was terrified myself and the thought of putting them in the oven was too much for me. All I could envision was a molten blob of plastic where my headlight used to be.
I used a heat gun around the seal which melts that black goooey stuff just enough to prize them apart and the orange lenses then just unclip and pop out.
Put the unit back together again and use the gun the warm the goo up again. Just an alternative to the oven lol
