Boost Gauge Fitment
Thanks to the good guys at www.Subarubits.co.uk i now have a rather nice single gauge a piller pod to put my Pro Sport Boost gauge in
Which leads me to my Question
Seeing as just about everyone has one and to save me scratching my head to much ( electrics are not my thing)
Can anyone give me a little heads up on the best wires to pick up
I know there is only 3 so should be quite an easy task
1 is an earth so thats ok
one is an ignition live
one is a dash light live
Its the second two i would like to know the best place to find what wire to splice into if you please
Once that is done
Were is the best route for the pipe to go through the bulkhead and more importantly, were is the pipe i need to "T" into
Thank you muchly in advance
Oh yer, the car is a bug eye STi
Regards
Ian

Very interesting
So the switched live is the Yellow one, so i'll put my meter thingy on that to confirm
My gauge also requires a dash live so i guess i'll just have to prod a few wires until i find the one unless anyone knows better.......PLEASE
Were did you get the "T" piece from ??
Great instalation you got there by the way

Thanks Ian, I got my T piece from my local car/cycle spares and accessories shop, an independent. A dash live should be easy enough to find, I take it you mean a permanent live, like the hazards or parking lights which ought be fairly easy to spot. According to the manual I have which might be a little different to you car the parking lights come off fuse FB10 and the wire is plain brown, might be a good place to start.
