Default subaru impreza wrx 2001 coil wiring check

hi i'm having problems wiv getting a spark and have been checking my wiring to see if thats where the problem is,on checking the coil plug i'v found that i'v got 12v live an earth and the middle wire which i take is from the ecu
wilest checking from the brown multi plug addapter i'v got 5 pins that all go to the centre coil plug pin and if i test from one coil plug to another using the centre pin they both link up is this ment to be.just wandering how the ecu is ment to send a signl to each coil pack if they are all linked up,is why i'm having the no spark problem cheers?

Have you got an output signal from the crank sensor?
Does the fuel pump prime?
I take it as you down to testing wiring you have checked all the basics?

whats the reason for checking all this?
how did you end up with no spark?
have you done any thing to the car recently?
