Default whats the difference

ok guys although there is a search option but me being lazy just a question what is the difference between a stroker kit and a forged kit

From what I understand, the forged kit is how the pistons etc are manufactured, and the stroker kit changes the displacement of the engine without a remap.

Edited to add: I didn't mean remap, I meant rebore!

Forged parts are physically similar to std. just made of better materials.

A stroker uses a longer throw crank to add low end torque and add to the cubic capacity so a 2.0 -> 2.1, or a 2.2 -> 2.35.

Re-map is a distraction, LOL

Sorry dunx, I was tired and meant rebore, bigger pistons etc.!
