Welcome to SNet.

Can't help you out on the sales side but here's a thread to get you started.

https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...-or-2-sti.html

Just below the top of the page is a 'search' button. Very useful tool, use it and abuse it, it loves it. Most of your answers will be there, but if you need some thing definitive or specific then post up your query and the motley crew will do their best for you.

Welcome.

Think there's a classic WRX for £1500 on " Private Cars for Sale" on this forum.

Welcome

first of all you need to check your insurance, even on a 94 STI it may be more than your car is worth (and alot are now tired examples being 18 years old), you wont be getting alot of car for your money and those will also need a fair bit of work doing to them (parts are not cheap either) and probably a full service (say 500 from an independent) with all the diff oils, engine oil, coolant and belts changed.
You can have a look through Pistonheads (www.pistonheads.com) to see exactly what your going to get for your money, but unless you have a decent ammount of cash you could end up putting a damned sight more money into the car than its purchase price

You could look at this one>>>

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2351650.htm
You will have to see what fuel they put in it, anything but super unleaded walk away as JDM's require super otherwise it damages the engines

UK car fsh
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2360863.htm
Newer though not a MY99 so it doesnt have a mappable ecu and a little bit of rust on the arches, its going to be common and may cost a bit to sort, dont sort it and it will cost alot more than a bit (panels are 1k from the dealers )

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2254146.htm
Original STI in the northwest, also needs super unleaded fuel only, skimp on the fuel and pay the price of an engine rebuild (like 2.5-3k)
