The car I have just bought has some plain black rubber flaps with 'WRX' in large white lettering on them, screen printed I guess. I don't mind the flaps but find the text a bit 'loud' any suggestions how I could remove the text cleanly - white spirit, lighter fuel? I was going to try one of these but thought I maight make it look worse if it didn't work and just blurred or faded the print?
Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

You sure they aren't vinyl decals?

If so, warm with hairdryer and peal off.

Is there a tell tale sign to check if they are vinyl decals?
