Hi RIch

Be careful. I think the law about number plates was changed at the beginning of this month, meaning they will start nicking people for non BS numberplates soon.

Thumbs up

Hi Rich
I can make smaller plates but with legal text only. The most popular plates I make are shortened ones, for people with less than 7 characters in their registration, and track plates. If you want I can e-mail you my prices/order form.

Rich & Mel, you have mail. With regard to pictures, I don't take pictures of other peoples plates and certainly wouldn't post them for obvoious reasons. Here's mine though so you can see what a smaller plate looks like.

My number plate only has 5 characters, and I got Iain to make me up a smaller front number plate.

The letters are a legal font and size, along with legal spacings, but the plate is smaller due there only being 5 characters.

Don't forget Iain can make up plates that say almost anything. I also had a plate made up with 'TANGO' on it, on the off chance I start doing trackdays!!

The quality of the plate is brilliant and better than the ones supplied by my dealer!!

Email Iain, you won't regret it!

Cheers
Andy

PS - No connection with Iain, other than being a very happy customer!!

Mother bought a new car recently, and we were told by the dealer that it's actually illegal to shorten a no plate, anyone care to comment?

You can shorten the plate as long as the text size and spacing are legal.

I got a smaller plate for my car.... colleague of mine suggested I look in the back of MCN (Motor Cycle News)...plenty of compnaies advertise in the classifieds their, doing plates in any size you want with text any size you want.

I got a front plate custom sized, 6 digits for less than £20 delivered next day.

Can't remember who I used but my biker friend suggested I pick the company closest to me because the quality was very similar from all as was the price.
