Hi there, im sure this topic has been covered enough by now! But i was just wondering who out of you lot will be there?

Im pretty much looking forward to it now! I was getting my car all organised for it over the past couple of days with a spare set of wheels and tyres for the track. Checked over my brakes and so on just to make sure the car is all good as i dont want a let down on the track.

Anyhows, id like to know whos going, but if the topics been covered can someone point me in the right direction

ps ill be in a grey mark 4 escort rsturbo, feel free to come over and chat to me at any point. You can always get a passenger lap if u want to in the sparco bucketed stripped out harnessed up noisy car

cheers

Cool

Steven,
Don't foret a spare set of pads all round, as what might be good for the road, could overheat on track...
Best regards

Cheers mike,

heres hoping they wont as i have only 900 kilos and ds2000's! but it is a better idea to bring along a spare set ESPECIALLY for the front.

Now where do i get a set of APEC fronts mike?

I dont suppose u are able to make it along are u?

It doesnt seem like many people from the board here will be there.

Steven,

if you look at the e-mail that I sent to all attendees the other day, then you will find the names of all the attendees, well those that don't have cryptic e-mail addresses

Should be a great day if the weather is like today.

Info packs being sent out by post tomorrow morning, as I've just got details of the insurance through.

Great news John.

Id like to speak to a few people online first so that i can maybe swap passenger seat runs or something. I have never been out in a scooby on the track, I once went out in one of the road but it was driven by a real "newbie" so it wasnt much to see.

I trust we havent heard anything about foot n mouth cancelling the day have we?

If the weather is the same as it has been today its going to be a great day as u said.

cheers

I'll be there next Sat, trying out my spare set of 17's
Hopefully this time I won't get a puncture and have to travel home on a space saver!!
Quite welcome for a spin

john, rich, and rob. You will recognise my car. It will be the only grey rsturbo there i suppose. Its gonnet the bonnet all propped up at the back and kinda stands out. At any point come across and say hi!

Id like to do some swapping of passenger laps as its always a great laugh.

Subarus or caterhams in that case!

My cars pretty much ready now, it will just be a matter of changing wheels on arival.

As said, come over and say hello, ill know johns caterham as it stands out but i wont be able to guess the others unless its obvious! but being a ford driver, ill probably stick out like a sore thumb!

as said, passenger laps in my wee noisey beast are up for grabs!

cheers

Hey guys,

Looking forward to spectating at my first SIDC track day.

My lovely wife went out and bought me a helmet yesterday, so the question is "Is there anyone out there willing to take me around on some passenger laps ?"

Thanks,

Andrew.

Talking

Guys

I'll be there in my Terzo. Unfortunately I don't have the ***** to take my pride and joy onto the track. I'll be there to spectate and hopefully get a passenger run in a 22B as I was promised. Can't miss my motor - very distinctive registration.

Thumbs up

First time on track for me on Saturday. Had the car 18 months now (MY99 - V555SUB), so about time I got out in amongst it. Still waiting on Egger Lawson phoning me back re insurance for the day - what is everyone else doing? Premiums were going up?

Do Knockhill still lend you a helmet if you don't have your own.

Cheers

Cool

Andrew

Quite happy to take you and anyone else for that matter, around on some passenger laps if you want
Just grab me on the day, I'll be driving an RB5, with hopefully ST2 wheels on if it's dry

Alan

Knockhill do supply drivers and passengers with helmets if you don't have your own.

Cheers,

Rob.

I'll happily take anyone out if they want,

except for that idiot stage1, i heard hes lost the plot

it all just depends on timing really!

as for thaty long range forecast UGH i dont think my car really wants to be going round in the wet! though of course it will do! but it would rather drive out of the hair pin in 2nd not fourth!

all those above feel free to come across!

cheers

Steven RW

ps keep that stage1 boy away from me!

Long term weather forecast is for rain on Saturday, with some snow on higher ground!!!

Knockhill will hopefully be OK, but I'd pack a brolly if you plan to come along.
