Default Rollcages

Just a quick question, can recommend a place (or someone) down south Surrey area that can do a custom rollcage? I am looking for something similar (in concept) to what is in the Porsche GT3 RS. Rear cage only, does not enter the front half of the car... extendable in the future

already have a quote for 825 + vat for a custom fabricated and fitted welded in rear cage.

will rear cages keep the roof from caving in? i.e. so if your wearing a harness your not stuck and can get out? also any that allow the rear seats to be still usable?

also as for the actual question, contact duncan / racedynamix im pretty sure he got a custom one built and i remmeber seeing a thread back in 2006 or so where he said the same company can now provide it to anyone wanting a cage for the newage.. price wise , it was dirt cheap too!

drop him a pm.

rear seats are coming out...

custom cages are just too far away, I know they are good, but I would prefer someone local (ish) if the cage needs extending, anything wrong with it, etc.

well considering that most people use cages that avoid the dash, which I believe would be useless if heavily rolled, it would have to a massive (and very specific) impact to get the front of the roof bent back onto me....

Graham,

Contact a friend of mine Steve Stripe at Xworks here in Essex. He is a motorsport fabricator and does lots of cage work. He builds race cars and prototype fabrications.

Tell him Frayz sent you

Cheers for that... then it sounds like it would be perfect, only problem is that I have had no response from Eureka.

PMd RE finding a pic of what this cage looks like fitted, so if anyone has pics similar fitted, that would be great.

Thanks
The cage is a one off. Custom made for me by SHP Motorsport. It is powder coated in satin black and is immaculate.
