hello. can any 1 give me any info on accepting a gift on paypal? had some money sent that does'nt show up, i have to accept it apparently

i sold some car parts from my old vw the bloke put funds in paypal and i checked 30 seconds later money was there .

never heard of a gift.

was nearly scammed once and they tried using paypal i forwarded the emails to paypal and they said they were scams.

if you have any problems ask paypal themselves mate

have they sent it to the right address

get the person who sent money to forward the email they got when they sent money

no you dont have to accept a gift its automatic

unless you account is max'd out

my paypal wont let me have more than 1000 in it , if someone sends money and it takes it over a 1000 then it wont show untill i have moved some money to my bank

FYI - Be careful with paypal and gifts though, if you send money as a a gift you loose a lot of your rights/come back, gifts attract zero/lower paypal fees for the person that receives the money.

if its a gift you cant put a claim in ,just incase its not what there say it is or its broke

if it says you have to accept it, that means there is no paypal account registered with that email address and shes sent it to the wrong one.
