Question would you happily buy

would you happily buy from hayward and scott following on from this thread:

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...-problems.html

its not a tonyburns vs the world thread, just looking at what other people's opinions are after that thread.

did it show that H&S acted as a good seller and someone you would want to deal with in the future?

Personally I don't think this is a fair thread. The other thread was closed for various reasons, not least for verging towards legality issues.

This is just reigniting things.

Just because you post something on an open public forum it does not give you, nor the owners of said forum carte blanch to say as you wish.

I win? Yeah whatever, next it'll be asking me to play marbles and swap stickers.........

its a seperate discussion, im interested as im in the market for an up pipe. I mention reporting it as you made a point of suggesting the last thread was closed so I presumed you suggested it to the moderators.

and no to stickers and marbles, I dont play well with others.

Yes that's quite correct that I mentioned to the mods on thread that it might be worth considering closing. That'd due to the fact that the conjecture was beyond a joke, in fact I doubt JRR. Tolkein could have done any better as a work of fiction and imagination.

If you want to start a thread about an H&S Up-Pipe, why not do that instead of creating a poll and a thread to generalize people's opinions that were already made clear in another, now closed, thread.

I'd take a stab in the dark and say that you didn't get your fill of the last thread and this is just another blatant attempt to spark it off again. Even if your intensions are genuine how long do you think it will be until that thread is basically repeated here nigh on chapter and verse?

Do you have a vested interest in H&S? or are you a defender of other retailers too, if that's the case, flat4online need your help.

Nope, never even bought from them. The reason I've got my opinion on this is all too often we quite rightly take the side of the consumer. More often that not the retailer is in the wrong.

However I think what got the debate firmly split was that the OP of that thread made a mess of returning it and nobody, least of all him ever acknowledged that. What made it worse is that whilst H&S could have collected, remember they didn't break any laws, the owner agreed to send the item. Whether that was through gritted teeth or not he sent it.

There is two sides to every story, and the truth is somewhere in the middle

well i have to say i wont be buying anything from h&s after reading that either!! and you like anyone else you are free to be as pissed off as you like about it
as for a few saying in that previous thread would you pay if you had sold a £1000 manifold and never got it back bla bla h&s are not one person with a small bank account lol they are a big company that sell very expensive products and i think they should be a little more customer friendly REGARDLESS as to what has happened!!
And as far as the producy being FAULTY and a few people being petty and saying its not faulty bla bla because this and that HOW PATHETIC is that being picky over words, if it does not fit as per the pictures provided then its faulty weather it works or not means nothing as that wouldnot fit an engine to try it so its FAULTY!!!!!
H&S like every other single company in the world have the odd part that is no good and for anyone to be so self consumed not to agree/see that well personally i think they should keep their opinion.

he is not asking for anything more than a little bit of help from a large company who he put his trust in, apparently WRONGLY.

Lol, nope, honestly I don't. I guess I'm just like the others who got a bee in their bonnet about it all, albeit with an opposing view.

That said I do think the OP is trying to start a thread knowing it will descend into farce again. OK we all got a bit carried away on the other thread, but it's closed. Lets try and leave all that there.

If you want to discuss H&S up-pipes or any others, do it, but don't use it as a front to discuss whether they are trusted or not, i.e to carry on a closed thread.

Anyway, I'm off to invade a Third World Country, where's my mate Pol Pot.........

it wasnt meant like that at all. I just do honestly want to know how people think about h&s after that thread, it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth and im really unsure if its a company I would want to deal with in the future. in fact its not a bad thing as they themselves can see if its something they should have dealt with differently.

Why do you need yet more opinions after the last thread, especially given that you admit its left a bitter taste in your mouth?

They (H&S) know about the other thread and if this thread is then to highlight how people feel about them, based on that incident, then it's a continuation of that thread.

Since the previous thread was closed and this is clearly a thinly veiled continuation, I'm closing the thread.
