light on dash??

i have just noticed a light (not lit up) on my dash... it looks like a snow flake and it says 'HOLD' next to it... iv never seen this light up and was wondering wot it is? it in a 96 wrx... thanks

dont even no wot that is lol... is this only on autos? mine is a manual

Can't remember, but it was in my manual. My car DOESN'T have it btw. 98 uk

I would say your car has been converted from an auto to a manual, the snow flake is common on auto's for winter conditions, none of my manual scoobs have ever had said symbol, and ive had 4 of which 3 are jdm imports (though the 2 auto cars ive had both had a snow flake symbol on the gearbox/dash)
