Default H E L P !!!! Release bearing stuck in pressure plate !!!

Hello guys.

I purchased an EXEDY clutch kit for my V2 Sti. My cousin was curious about how everything fits together and stuck the throw out bearing into the center of the pressure plate where all of the fingers reach toward the center.

He didn't slam it in or anything, he just popped it in, and it pretty well stuck there.

What now ? How can I pull it out ?
Is there any RESCUE ???

PLEASE HELP !!!!

If I'm thinking right it should just snap it out. I'm sure it just snaps in over the fingers and is held in place by the spring

It's got a locking collar on it so if you pull it won't come out, all you have to do is move the collar (just need something thin enough to release it, screwdriver will do) and pull at the same time. If you look at the bearing and it's collar as you pull you should be able to see what's happening to prevent removal.

Flip the cover plate over & unclip the lock ring off the basket then take the bearing out, stick the basket back in the refit the lock ring. Job done.
