Default 07+ Hatch Owners Q!

Just out of interest really. The hatch has been out for around 3 years now. Want to ask present and past owners what their experience is of the interior and how it has stood up to time.

Does it develop all the usual tendencies to rattle and feel like things are being held together by lego ( in fact lego would probably be better) like the Blobeye or does it hold itself together with a bit more integrity.?

I have actually thought of taking my STI to a coach works and get a quote for them to sort out all rattles and do some sound proofing. Has anyone done this? hahaha.

Thanks for your time

Sean

I think you'll struggle to find a reputable coach works who would be willing to take money to chase rattles and squeaks. They are properly annoying though, that's for certain!

I've had 2 classics, an 02 STI Prodrive Style, an 05 STI and now a 330S
The 330S has only done 5K.
It doesn't have any rattles that I can think of, with the exception of the parcel shelf if its not fully extended.
It rattles a bit if retracted.

Mine is really bad for annoying rattles, have taken to wedging bits of paper/cocktail sticks in strategic placces to limit it - still under warranty so was thinking about taking it to the dealer to see if they could sort them out but I'm not too confident about it getting sorted

23000 miles on mine, as above, only rattle is if the parcel cover is not extended. Other than that its fine.

Just over 5,000 miles - I am going to take it to the local garage when I get a chance, had rattle issues with a previous car under warranty (wifes Nissan Micra) and had a lot of hassle and mucking about with very little results. There is one at the boot (luggage cover) and two at the dashboard - they are intermittent - depends on the revs and the road so up 'till now I have been cranking up the radio and wedging things in !

Luggage cover - I don't think you will be able to do much about that.
Does it still rattle when extended?
