found out the exhaust is slightly blowing on joint could this cause this holding back feeling im getting. i was going to disconnect the maff and test to see if it stalls but ive read about, disconnecting batt to re-set cel. but how does this affect the alarm .ive the little pad in glove box but havnt got code and am unsure how to put my own code in. could do with doing it just in case anything goes wrong with alarm. back to exhaust going to put a de- cat on when this cold stuff goes away

If you disconnect the battery it wont effect your sigma alarm at all . The code for the glovebox key pad is only if you loose your remote and want to arm/disarm the car manually. You can have the alarm set so that it operates on the keypad after you have used your remote to open the doors,so should someone steel your keys they will still need to type in your pin no on the keypad to drive your car away.

If you do not know your pin and have your service book, then the original subaru dealer should have it or subaru uk may be able to help you.
