Has anyone tried these yet?
I get up and down the hills easy, but for the missus it's not so easy. I was thinking of giving these a go:

Seen these advertised before, though not vauxhall packaged i assume they are made by the same company, look the same anyway.
The ones i read about not only said about the speed restriction, but also that they were a 'get you home' solution only. So probably only meant to get you out of the sh** rather than a replacement for winter tyres or snow chains.
My daughter used these on her cooper s last year from Aber Uni back home. Saved her a nightmare journey as other cars stuck getting up small hills. A life saver in my opinion - she was really glad I bought her a pair. Just poped them back in her boot today incase it really comes down again. Highly recommended from our experience.
really good !! try putting socks over your shoes then run round in the snow
i did last year (i work outside "delivering") and you`ll see that this is amazing.
although the socks get very wet lol............
