Coilovers and height setting
How do I know the best height to set my coilovers at? The are bc's and how do I make sure they are equal heights? Only just fitted them so playing about with them a bit!

Just fitted my Apex ones today, love playing with the air tools..lol..
Took a while in the cold, but all done, and seems nice and low.
I took the advice of JohnD, i did 7 turns on the hub mount, and didn't lock it, just loosely left it for fitting.
This has lowered my car by about 10-15mm, i took the hub mounts off too and copper greased them. For future adjustment made easy.
Be warned, i had the use of an air gun, and a very helpful mad man called Maggs..lol..
The rear hub bolts on mine were very very rusty, took 10mins of soaking in GT85, and the airgun to loosen the, but once loosened, they succumbed to my prowess ..
Took a total of 5 hours, but taking my time, chatting and eating biscuits..

i'm picking up my apex coilovers tomorrow which are the same as the bc's.
going to drop mine to prodrive spring level so 20-25mm lover than stock. to get them level i think you need to measure the stock ride height from top of arch to centre of wheels on a flat surface or ramp. fit coilovers as high as they will go then gradually lower all 4 to stock level less whatever you want to drop it by. that's how i'd do it anyway, although will be getting them professionally fitted and aligned.
