pulling back????????

Default pulling back????????

when i get to about 2,700 revs it feels like the car is pulling back then when i get to 3000 revs it goes .and i dont seem to have alot of smooth exel power pulling away. its all serviced new leads etc and yesterday i cleaned the boost solinoed but just that not the pipes ive a bit more power around the 3000 mark but slightly still holding back im going to change cam belt shortly could this be something to do with it. still new to scoobys but wouldnt swop it for any thing . 1999 uk turbo wagon stonk

Mine is doing exactly the same thing. Just noticed your also from Wolverhampton!

Doesn't really sound much like a cam belt issue, more like a fuel air issue. You'll probably need to get an informed opinion from someone who can actually see what's happening with the set up of your engine. By the way, it's been good following your progress with the car, I hope you get it all sorted.

thanks tim this is a crackin site real helpful pepole as ive said in my earlier posts im ok on the spanner side but this is a new learning curb with the scooby. i think ill get it pluged in then take it from there lots more to do on it a few small mods but going to get info from the site before i do any ive heard some horror storys cheers stonk
