Keeping bugeye stored over winter
My Bug will be going in the garage for the winter time and probably till around May/June time next year, what precautions can i take to keep it all ok.
Have got a solar powered battery charger(garage has a window), is it advised to start it up a couple of times a week? what other things should i do, or is the previous enough?

I have a mate who puit his m3 in the garage and left it, the bushes were fukced and there was a lot of rot and dampness.
You want to get a dehumidifier and stick it in the garage, and also take it out for a run just to get some air about the interior.
Watch the tyres aswell as if its stood on good tyres theres a chance they could crack...

Pump the tyres up to about 40psi
Brim the fuel tank
Trickle Charger (or if that solar thing is similar...?)
Leave handbrake off and just use blocks
Start up and leave to run for about 10-15 minutes every two weeks
This should see see it fine the P1 has done this every year from new and is still 100%
Just remember that mechanical sympathy goes a long way once it is back on the road so go easy for the first couple of hundred miles. The fuel in the tank will have gone off slightly anyway so is all the more reason/motivation to take it easy for the first full tank of fuel works out just right!
